The power of “The Only”- Breaking barriers and redefining leaderships

The first day of the conference will kick off with a keynote address from the award-winning former television news anchor and reporter, Angela Chee, media/on-camera and communication coach. During the inspirational keynote, Chee will share her personal experiences as an Asian American raised by immigrant parents and being “the only one,” and how she channeled her individuality as a strength to accelerate her career. Attendees will learn how to redefine barriers and turn them into strengths, gain insight on how to own your voice and step into your leadership with power and presence, discover the Power of “The Only” Leadership principles, and hear the YOU, Amplified!® Formula-Seven Steps to Confidence, Clarity, and Connection.

How to develop your personal value proposition

Day two will feature a special presentation delivered by Ginny Baro, Ph.D., #1 bestselling author of “Fearless Women at Work,” and an executive coach and career strategist. Baro will share tools and strategies to develop in your career and personal life; tips to enhance your influence by learning how to position yourself successfully within an organization and build a robust network; strategies to amplify your impact on the organization by contributing to projects that drive business growth and leverage your unique value proposition; and the value in self-management, social awareness, and relationship management.

General sessions with industry leaders who have paved the way

Hear from leading women of health care and their path to leadership as they discuss the strategies that paved their way, the tools that helped them become leaders in their field, tips to overcome industry-related biases, and best practices to manage and empower cross functional and diverse health care teams.

Learn how to inspire, empower, and guide people to be their very best in a highly interactive workshop on sensei in the C-suite. Jim Bouchard, international speaker, trainer, author, will share strategies and tactics needed as an experienced leader. Attendees will learn how to identify the leadership goals and challenges most important to them; cultivate the best in others; deepen bonds of respect, trust, and loyalty to develop productivity, creativity, and performance; and mentor emerging leaders and assure a successful legacy.

Explore harassment in the C-suite- is it still alive and well? Heather Schwartz Sanderson, Esq. chief legal officer, Franco Signor, will discuss steps to address and eliminate direct and ambient sexual harassing behaviors, company accountability to empower vulnerable individuals in an organization, age biases toward women in leadership as a new challenge to tackle, and how to address unsolicited behaviors and best practices for coming forward and the aftermath impact to your career.

Join industry leaders in a panel discussion, leveling the playing field-leading the way to equality in health care to understand why the pay gap for women starts in the early stages of their career and the current state in the health care industry. Amy Waninger, an author and CEO of Lead at Any Level LLC, will moderate the discussion as panelists share negotiating skills to help close the gap, provide tools to tackle gender and racial biases and drive change within your organization, and share insights on how to navigate a work culture that doesn’t openly support innovation, address the gender gap, or endorse professional growth.

To maintain the health and safety of all attendees, speakers, sponsors, and staff, this year’s summit will be held as a virtual event. Attendees will enjoy high-quality presentations and lively discussion from the safety of their homes. Participants will also engage and network virtually with colleagues and peers as well as submit questions to presenters throughout the live presentations.

Attendees will also have access to conference presentations for 90 days after the live event, making it easy to re-watch sessions or catch any presentations that may have been missed.
