Representatives from the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services’ Office of Inspector General (OIG) will join our roster of more than 50 speakers at RISE National, which will be live-streamed March 26, 29, and 30.

Presenters will provide an overview of the OIG’s recent work and current priorities, including the impact of COVID-19 and telehealth. They will also discuss recent evaluations of health risk assessments and identifiers for ordering providers in Medicare Advantage encounter data.

The panel includes: Megan H. Tinker, senior advisor for legal affairs, Office of Counsel to the Inspector General, as well as the OIG’s Jacqualine Reid, social science research analyst; San Le, social science research analyst for evaluation and inspections; and Robert E. Kirkner, social science research analyst for evaluation and inspections.

The presentation will take place at 4 p.m. EST, Monday, March 29.

The three-day RISE National virtual event will feature presentations, panel discussions, and roundtables of interest to those in the Medicare Advantage and Affordable Care Act markets, including topics related to risk adjustment, quality, member experience, and the social determinants of health

In addition to industry experts, attendees will also hear from an all-star lineup of keynote speakers, including Ezekiel Emanuel, M.D., a member of President-elect Joe Biden’s transition COVID-19 advisory board; infection disease expert Luciana Borio, M.D., who warned the public in January 2020 about the pending COVID-19 pandemic; Wendy Sue Swanson, M.D., a leader in digital health, innovation, and prevention; health care futurist Ian Morrison; and Olympic Gold Medalist Tara Lipinski.
