RISE is pleased to introduce the launch of RISE Radio, a series of podcast episodes that will focus on issues that impact our three RISE communities: Quality & Revenue; Member Acquisition & Experience; and Social Determinants of Health. Joining us for our inaugural episode of RISE Radio are the members of the RISE Risk Adjustment Policy Committee.

In the first podcast, recorded shortly after President Joe Biden took office, RISE Editorial Director Ilene MacDonald talks to committee members about the new administration's health care priorities, mechanisms the administration can use to achieve these priorities given a split Senate, and regulatory issues that Medicare Advantage plans need to watch in 2021. The panel will take a deeper dive into these topics at RISE National, a virtual event that will be live-streamed March 26-30.

Committee members include Sean Creighton, vice president of federal policy, Humana; David Meyer, an expert on risk adjustment policy and a member of the RISE advisory board; Gabriel McGlamery, senior health policy consultant for Florida Blue’s Marketplace business; Josh Weisbrod, VP, risk adjustment, Network Health, a regional non-profit payer in Wisconsin; and Howard Weiss, who works in the government relations department at Emblem Health, a nonprofit health plan headquartered in New York City.
