It’s been a long three years and we are counting down the days until we are all back together again in Nashville, Tenn. for RISE National 2022. You’ve heard about the incredible content and speakers we’ve lined up, but you may be unaware of all the fun and activities we’ve planned. Here’s a helpful guide so you can make the most out of the three-day event, March 7-9.

Let the countdown begin! RISE National 2022 will take place March 7-9 at the Gaylord Opryland in Nashville. In addition to great sessions and speakers, we have tons of fun planned. Take a look:

1. The highlight of the event: Networking with attendees, sponsors, and speakers

Don’t forget to pack your business cards! We have loads of opportunities for you to reconnect after three years apart!

Rest assured we have safety protocols in place so you can feel comfortable interacting face-to-face again.  We will have a color-coded system in place to allow attendees to self-select and display their comfort level for physical contact with peers through ribbons labeled: Green for High-Fives & Handshakes, Yellow for Elbows Only, and Red for No Contact.

Networking begins Monday night with a welcome reception in the exhibit hall for drinks and hors d’oeuvres. In the mood for a specialty drink? Several sponsors will feature specialty bars. Visit Amplifon Hearing Health Care for an old fashioned, Apixio for a sidecar, Centauri Health Solutions for a mojito, Cognisight for a cucumber collins, or Optum for a Tennessee tea. But one reception isn’t enough to celebrate the fact we are back together in person. We’ll also have an extended gathering on Tuesday night for face-to-face networking!

We’ll also have breakfast networking receptions on Tuesday and Wednesday morning in the exhibit hall as well as scheduled 15-minute breaks throughout the conference so you can catch up with colleagues and ask speakers questions in between sessions.

 2. Interactive roundtables plus a chance to win a luxury prize!

Networking also continues via interactive roundtables on Tuesday, March 8 from 4:50 to 5:50 p.m. and Wednesday, March 9 from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m.

Pull up a chair and settle in for an opportunity to select three interactive, speed-networking type presentations and solutions with dozens of our sponsors for boosting your plan’s risk, quality, and data management initiatives. A bell will ring three times within the hour-long sessions to alert you its time to move to the next roundtable of your choice.

Roundtable participants will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a luxury gift. We’ll randomly select four people each day to receive this high-end prize.

3. Book signing with author and keynote presenter Jane McGonigal

Hot off the press! RISE Association members have the opportunity to pick up a complimentary advance copy of McGonigal’s new book, Imaginable: How to See the Future Coming and Feel Ready for Anything—Even Things That Seem Impossible Today at the RISE Association booth in the exhibit hall.

The book, which will be available to the public on March 22, explains how to train our minds to think the unthinkable and imagine the unimaginable to solve problems creatively, act and make decisions that shape the future we desire, and activate a sense of urgent optimism when faced with a future global challenge.

After her keynote address on Wednesday morning, McGonigal will be available to sign copies of her book and chat with attendees.

4. Download the app!

There is a lot to keep up with considering the conference will feature more than 150 expert speakers, 35 sessions, and 130 sponsors. Download the Episource-sponsored mobile app before or at the start of the conference to access the agenda, pre-select the sessions you want to attend, rate and view presentations, and connect with your peers. Log-in credentials will be sent to registered attendees by Friday, February 25.

 5. Explore the Gaylord and Nashville after hours

Gaylord Opryland is in the heart of Nashville and features nine acres of airy, indoor garden atriums, cascading waterfalls, an indoor river with a Delta flatboat, an upscale indoor/outdoor resort water attraction, award-winning restaurants and bar, a world-class spa, and a state-of-the art fitness center.

You may not want to leave this amazing resort, but there is much to explore in downtown Nashville and discover why its known as “Music City.” Enjoy a ride share credit from American Logistics, our transportation sponsor, to travel downtown and experience amazing attractions like The Grand Ole Opry, Tennessee State Museum, Johnny Cash Museum, The Second Fiddle, Bluebird Café, Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, and the Tennessee Performing Arts Center. Pick up your rideshare credit at the American Logistics booth in the exhibit hall.

Helpful reminders before you go

If it’s been a while since you’ve traveled, don’t forget to pack a pair of flat shoes. The Gaylord is massive (and so is our exhibit hall with a record number of sponsors) so be prepared for a lot of walking over the three days.

Bring your proof of COVID-19 vaccination (a physical copy of the CDC vaccination card or photo of the card) along with a photo ID to show registration staff when you arrive to get your conference badge.

Pack your masks! Face coverings are required in indoor conference spaces (except when attendees are drinking and in a location where they can maintain a minimum distance of six feet between other attendees).

And a final reminder to bring your business cards! You’ll want to have plenty of cards on hand when you connect with other attendees and visit exhibitor booths. And while you’re at it, bring a bag with you to “shop” the exhibit hall for unique and fun swag offered by our sponsors.
