Tim has over 15 years of professional experience in health care operations and regulatory risk management. A strategic and forward-thinking business executive, Tim has a proven track record of success in managed care operations, risk adjustment strategies, coding and documentation programs, regulatory compliance, and consulting and business advisory services. Throughout his career, Tim has demonstrated effectiveness as a leader with an ability to build and coach teams that deliver integrated and optimal results.
In his current role as Chief Compliance Officer at Radiology Partners, the largest physician owned and led radiology practice in the U.S., Tim oversees all aspects of regulatory compliance for both inpatient, outpatient, and value-based operations, including direct responsibility for coding and audit activities.
Previously, Tim served as National Vice President, Medicare Revenue and Risk Adjustment for DaVita Medical Group / HealthCare Partners (HCP), and led the national strategy, development, and implementation of programs focused on comprehensive health assessment and quality, coding documentation improvement, and revenue accuracy. In this capacity, Tim was responsible for the oversight of six geographic markets, a growing national infrastructure, and risk adjustment outcomes for over 350K Medicare Advantage patients.
Tim also was the Vice President of Operations for DaVita HCP, responsible for the development and execution of operational strategy for HCP’s medical group and IPA provider network in Orange County, CA, including oversight for Medicare Advantage, Commercial, and Medicaid managed care lines of business. He also served as the Corporate Compliance Officer for HealthCare Partners and DaVita’s Kidney Care operations.
Strategic healthcare executive who has led business segments and developed and launched Medicare Advantage plans, Special Needs plans, risk-based provider networks and risk adjustment and quality solutions. Nancy is currently the AVP of Risk Adjustment Operations at Molina Healthcare and oversees both retrospective and prospective programs for Medicaid, Medicare and Marketplace ACA product lines. She has been in the managed care industry over 30 years and specialized in provider contracting and government programs with such companies as Metlife, Cigna, United and Medical Mutual of Ohio. She received her MBA from American Graduate School of International Management (“Thunderbird”).
Vandna Pandita Vice President of HEDIS® Strategy and Analytics
Vandna Pandita, MPH is the Vice President of HEDIS® Strategy and Analytics for the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies [ACFC]. In her role, Vandna oversees the full continuum of performance measurement from the acquisition of data to reporting and analytics for the enterprise. In her role, she works collaboratively with internal and external partners to ensure that the AmeriHealth Caritas Family of Companies is best positioned within the marketplace at the state and national level.
Prior to AmeriHealth, Vandna has worked for several national health plans, including Aetna, several Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association and Centene. She has successfully led several health plans through NCQA Accreditation, managed HEDIS® reporting, improvement and outreach, and helped develop and implement a successful provider profiling and performance measurement program. In addition to her health plan experience, Vandna managed Risk Adjustment Client Operations for Evolent Health, is a former certified HEDIS® Compliance Auditor and led project management and client solutions for a retrieval, abstraction/coding and analytics vendor supporting health plans and provider groups in their efforts to optimize revenue and improve quality within their populations.
Vandna attended the University of California at Berkeley as an undergraduate and received her Master’s in Public Health from the University of California at Los Angeles.
Vandna has moved from coast to coast, and although she has spent the last 20+ years working on her southern drawl in Atlanta, these days you will find her running the streets of her new hometown, Philadelphia.
